The Marais Poitevin or green Venice Jewel of the regional and natural patrimony is a true tresure of beauty within a backdrop of greenery. It lives to the rythme of his tens of kilometers of canals from Niort to the Atlantic coast. If the vegetation is luxuriante in the Deux-Sevres, the horizon appears notably sparce of plant life when approaching the ocean.

ATLANTIC COASTLINE

The Atlantic coastline is protected by four islands, of which the two largest are Oleron and Ré. The mild climate and the beauty of the preserved environment make these lands real corners of paradise. In Vendee, the traditional and wild island of Yeu, and the island of Noirmoutier suprising by its passing of Gois, majesticaly stretching the length of the coast.

LOIRE COUNTRY

The Loire Country represents the French way of life : an exceptional architechtural patrimony, presenting all the styles, from Manors to the majestic chateaux of angevin constructed of Tufa-stone, the local produce from the land, like the internationaly known Anjou wines and muscadet, of its produce from the sea, coming from its maritime sea front, varied and long, a dynamic economy, and finaly a mild climate in which life is good.
