The Bourgogne offers prestigious wines and vineyards, gastronomic pleasures, destinations listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, all within a preserved and natural setting, a perfect balance between man, nature, and its produce. The wine is without contest the most famous ambassador for the Bourgogne. Nearly 200 government certifications guaranteeing the quality of a french wine, with the harmonious marriage of two grape varieties, the Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Also to be found is the Aligote for certain whites and Gamay in the Macon. The Route of the Grands Crus shares the secrets of the vine and wine whilst following prestigious and unusual places.

BEAUNE

Beaune recognised as a town of art and history is the wine capital of the Bourgogne. Its Hospice is as well known for its traditional bourguignon architecture and its glazed roofs as for its prestigious vineyard of which its production is sold at auction.

FRANCHE COMTE

The Franche Comté is rich for its preserved scenery and two national parks (The Park du Ballon des Vosges and the Park du Haut Jura). One can find also incredible sites of cultural interest, including the majestic fortifications of Vauban, at Besancon

LYON

Lyon, on the banks of the Rhone and the Saone, between the hills of the Fourviere and that of the Croix Rousse, is at the heart of a touristic region, close to the Alps, at the crossroads of wines grands crus between Beaujolais and the Cotes du Rhone, and the flavours of Southern Ardeche and Drome Provencale. Lyon, reflects the different periods of time, and tells the history of this town listed by the World Patrimony of Humanity.
